We would like to feel that all of our guests have a wonderul, relaxing stay at Nulty`s Cottages. The rural setting with river and farm create a beautiful ambience. With this in mind we would ask all of our guest to be considerate of our other guests and the enjoyment of their stay.
Confirmation and Securing your booking -
We require a non-refundable deposit of 75 Euro per house with credit card/Laser card details to secure your booking.
Payment -
The outstanding balance (full payment) will be required one month prior to your arrival.
Arrival times and Check-out Times -
We require time for full servicing of our holiday cottages so that they are up to the standard that you our guest requires. With this in mind, The Cottages are available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival and Check-out times are 10.00am the day of departure. We will be more than pleased to discuss any additional arrangements of times for those with small children, however this is subject to our own schedule and availabilty. Please let us know your requirements prior to your stay.
It is a guest responsibility to inform us of an estimated time of arrival in advance of their visit to ensure that keys will be available. Late arrivals (after 10.00pm) can be facilitated by prior arrangement.
Damage Deposit/Extra Cleaning Deposit -
A damage/extra cleaning deposit per cottage will be required one week prior to arrival – payment will be made by credit card. Failure to leave the cottage in a clean and tidy condition, breakages and other misuse of facilities will result in deductions being made from your damage/extra cleaning deposit. The balance of your damage/extra cleaning deposit will be returned once an inventorycheck has been taken and an assessment of the cottage has been made.
No Smoking -
Smoking is not permitted inside the cottages. Smoking in your cottage will result in the loss of your damage/extra cleaning deposit.
Electricity Charges
Electricity is charged according to consumption. Each cottage’s meter wil be read on arrival and departure and a charge of €0.30 per unit (kWH) used will be applied.
Exceptional Additional Charges
Heating
In certain circumstances, rental charges include preset heating. The presets generally allow for morning, lunchtime and evening heat. Additional heating can be provided if required, but at a cost to the guest. Please contact us in advance of your stay to discuss your requirements and current charges.
Cleaning Charge
A cleaning charge of €35 will be applied if, at the end of your stay, the cottage is not left clean and tidy.
Supervision of Children
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Extra care should be taken around animals and poultry and in the vicinity of the river. Guests are advised that electric fencing is used throughout the property. We are a working farm with farm machinery, it is essential that no one enters the farmyard unless accompanied by one of the owners.All gates on the farm are to remain closed at all times.
Cottages are not fitted with stairgates, socket covers or other child-proof devices. It remains the reponsibility of parents/guardians to child-proof their cottage during their stay if required.
Number of persons using the cottage
The number of persons using the holiday cottage is not to exceed the maximum number allowed for that cottage (The Stables Cottage – maximum 4 persons.The Forge cottage maximum 6 persons, The Farmhouse Cottage -maximumof 8 persons and The Lodge Cottage a maximum of 10 persons). We reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this or any of the other booking conditions are not met. Your party will be asked to leave immediately, without refund and you will lose your damage deposit, if more than the maximum allowed persons stay in your cottage during your stay. All of these would affect our insurance policy.
Care of the property
A condition of acceptance of any booking is that the guests will take good care of the cottage and its contents, and that it is left in a truly clean and tidy state as it will have been found. The care is to include all furnishings, utensils, crockery and linen and though you might not be charged for minor breakages, you are responsible for all damage or breakages.
